The Long Weekend…
Had a great weekend! Picked the first garlic! Yum! Picked berries. Day lilies are blooming. Wooly relaxing. And the bricks are settling in nicely.

I’ve been enjoying a nice hot summer! Just picked cucumbers. I will be making a hummus, cucumber, and cheddar sandwich for lunch. Yum! Lilies in the front yard.

In The Garden.
Not a lot of house projects going on at the moment. This time of year it’s all about the garden. The irises have starting blooming. I have about seven different kinds. May is by far my favorite month.

The Lilacs Are Blooming!!!
It seems to be a bit early, but the lilacs have started to bloom! I have several in my yard, and this one always blooms first. Now my house is filled with fresh cut lilacs! The smell is heavenly!
